White outside

The last day of the year began with snow, more snow than I've ever seen in Kyoto.





The sakura trees of Gion Shirakawa were white not with flowers but with winter.




Caught off guard, many people didn't have umbrellas.










But not everybody needs them.




The snow made patterns never seen before.




And I made this.




It was my old year resolution.
